Let's go back to what we used to know...


When we're young there is nothing that can stop us. We're here to stay. There is love and warmth all around us. We're all alive and nothing is wrong. We can't help but have this wonderful faith that never leaves! We're so alive. There is never anything wrong. We don't know...we don't know.


Our first kiss of youth on the round cheek of our friend. The smile and the pearly white round teeth of the toddler...we learn to walk and now have the adventures of ages! Mother earth gives us her warmth and inspiration of life!!! She cradles us in her oceans depth and says "hush child...I'll never leave you my love...sleep...I love you...I love you..."


Lies? What are lies? We don't have lies here. Only love. Can't you hear the birds singing? They're singing because they're in love! Isn't love wonderful?


War? What is war? We don't have war here. Only love. Can't you feel the rain on your face? The sky is raining down it's love for us! Isn't love wonderful?


Hate? What is hate? We don't have hate here. Only love. Can't you see the moon's glow? It's glowing because it loves the stars! Isn't love wonderful?


Pain? What is pain? We don't have pain here. Only love. Can't you taste the fruit from our Mother Earth? She gives us this nourishment because she loves us...her children. Isn't love wonderful?

Lies. Lies destroyed love. Lies are everywhere. The birds cannot sing anymore because they're love was killed. What is love?


War. War destroyed love. War is everywhere. Do you feel the hot rains? The sky is raining down tears of blood for the lost. What is love?


Hate. Hate destroyed love. Hate is everywhere. The moon is gone. It no longer glows because all the stars were shot down. What is love?


Pain. Pain destroyed love. Pain is everywhere. The fruits of Mother Earth are gone. She was killed...murdered...sucked dry. What is love?

We yearn for our return to innocence but to no avail. There is no return to this love. Love is made alien to us and it's name is dragged the dirt, its meaning distorted. The modern concept of love...


I too yearn for my return to innocence...to go back...to my soft, simple, naive, ignorance....to think that this world really is a simple and wonderful place to be...to believe in magic.


To believe that the sun smiles.
To believe that trees feel.
To believe that the earth knows!
To believe that there is love!

To believe in love...
